The SugarDock break is about 700 meters off shore. The lineup is always empty and when a northwestern swell rolls in, heavy barreling rights crash onto the reef. This isn't long dead, rocky Hawaiian reef. This is fully alive, slice you like razorblades, reef. I go out here with Jari, one of my mates from University.
I just bought a waterproof camera and was able to take it out on one of the smaller days. I am on a new body board that is perfect for the inside part of the wave that gets steep. Jari has a surfboard where he can catch waves on the shoulder and get much longer rides.
